Rev Dr Dean Drayton B.Sc.(Hons), B.D., Ph.D. was appointed as the President of the Uniting Church in Australia (UCA) at the 10th Assembly held in Melbourne in July 2003.
Drayton adopts a folksy persona while in public but is a severely unstable person who berates his brothers non-stop and occasionally brings people "home for dinner".
Note: In the original movie, Drayton was the most "normal" of the family and was slightly troubled by the murders his brothers committed; however, in the second one he fully supports them and is a full-bore lunatic.

 Church History
The first record we find of Drayton Beauchamp is in connection with Robert, Earl of Morton, one of the most powerful barons who, in 1066, accompanied the Conqueror from Normandy.
Either this Earl or his son founded the Church of Drayton; in any case, it is certain that the son was owner of the advowson.
Early in the 13th century, William de Beauchamp (or de Bello Campo) held the Manor of Drayton and was patron of the Rectory, and although the Beauchamps held a portion of the Parish for only two generations, it was from them that it received its present name of Drayton Beauchamp.

The Archaeology of the A41 Aston Clinton Bypass, October 2003
Two clearly ancient roads are the 'holloway' running parallel to the scheme at Drayton Beauchamp and Roman road known as Akeman Street.
The holloway forms the medieval parish boundary of Drayton Beauchamp and Buckland, the elongated medieval strip parish to the south.
Both the buried track and the holloway appear to form components of a grid of lanes and fields lying at the foot of the Chiltern scarp.
