Railway Junction Diagrams - 021 - Market Drayton, Nantwich and Whitchurch / Halesowen and Northfield
The Railway Junction Diagrams shown here are taken from a 1920 edition, which is old enough to be out of copyright (a fact taken advantage of by at least two publishers who have already reprinted books of Diagrams from 1914 and 1915).
When it is finished, this site will include almost 180 Railway Junction Diagrams, and naturally this will take some time to complete.

 Cycle Ride Three
This ride was to be the longest and most ambitious so far attempted by us, and like all our circular rides we had to return to the car which we had parked at Reepham station as usual, anyway we were up for it so here we go.
One thing I was amazed by as we cycled toward the city on this path, was that it was like traveling through a green corridor, looking nothing like city or suburbs until we emerged at the end of the path by the Inner ring road and Halfords superstore.
We left Reepham station at 10.10 am with the usual essentials on board and decided to cycle the short distance to Whitwell and Reepham station by road, where we then joined "The Marriott's Way".

Tefft (1826-1859) was apprenticed with Tallman and Bucklin in Providence and went on to make a name for himself as an architect of factories and railway stations.
He is known especially for his Romanesque inspired Union Station in Providence designed when he was only 22.

Milton Railway Station Campaign - Politicians Views on St.Ives Railway
If the busway to Science Park is permitted, the bus will then join all the rest of the traffic down Milton Road, feeling its way through our super-congested city until it finally trickles its way to the railway station and links up with its Trumpington Branch.
The guided bus route along the old railway to St Ives is clearly impossible, as the route in Cambridge takes it along the railway from Chesterton to the station.
The railway would be linked with improved existing routes to take long-distance passengers and freight, relieving congestion on the A14.

The site of the former Cambrian Railways station at Llanymynech is now in use as a coal merchant's yard.
Further restoration work to Okehampton station has been approved by Camas Rail, and Devon County Council is to seek money from the West Devon Capital Challenge and the Rural Development Commission for additional car parking and signing and from the Heritage Lottery and English Partnerships for work on the Down side station buildings and footbridge.
The Pendleton Station area has frequent bus services, Salford Crescent station is half a mile away and anyway the walk would be beneficial to the health of those who sit down all day at work and who sit on a bus or train when travelling thereto and -from as well.

 CULG - Northern Line
Originally the line was to consist of a route from Charing Cross to Hampstead with a branch to Archway, all in tube, but Yerkes insisted on further extending the western branch under Hampstead Heath to the empty land of Golders Green, where it would surface.
Golders Green depot is east of the station; it can be entered at the south end from the tubes, or from the station by reversing in a siding extending a short way into the tube.
The existing tube stations were used as shelters, with shelterers being allowed to sleep on station platforms after trains ended for the day.
