Klondike Gold Mine is a steel tracked ZL42 roller coaster manufactured by Fratelli Pinfari S.r.I. It opened at Drayton Manor in 1988, but has since been removed.

With Drayton Manor being right in the heart of England, it's understandable that they should have adopted a patriotic stance in the construction of their 2003 ride, and what could be a more English theme than the knights of the realm?
On the plus side, the "Drayton Manor Curse" does tend to lead to these groups splitting up within six months, and therefore the final choice of Atomic Kitten was highly agreeable.
Between leaving Castleville and entering Dragon Manor, the scenery is very sparse, and the ride relies almost entirely on the commentary to keep us entertained.

 X-Car for Drayton Manor?
Screamscape reports that Drayton Manor may get a Maurer X-Car with vertical lift and three inversions, for 2005 as well.
I always thought modular referred to how the vehicles were made up (and could be altered) but I suppose it refers to the track as well.
In theory, I could see a helix and some sort of barrel roll or inline twist fitting on the end of the Drayton one.

 What rides at Drayton manor in 2006?
The season 2005 has just started, they are going to build a huge and expensive roller coaster this year and you ask already for the season 2006?
Drayton Manor used to have a group of small hotels (no real idea if they still have these) and have very successful hospitality venues within the theme park
It certainly was their strategy a few years back to establish an on site hotel and extend their hospitality venues, I’m sure this is something Drayton Manor would still be very keen to develop for the future
