		Played by Jim Siedow, Drayton Sawyer is the eldest brother of the Sawyer clan which consisted of Leatherface, Chop Top and Edward Sawyer in the first two Texas Chainsaw Massacre films.
		Drayton adopts a folksy persona while in public but in reality is a severely unstable person who berates his brothers non-stop, rants at great length about money and the plight of the small businessman, and occasionally brings people "home for dinner".
		Whereas once he could be considered the most "normal" of the family and was slightly troubled by the murders his brothers committed, switching between telling them to get it over with quickly and cheering them on, in the second film he fully supported them and was a full-bore lunatic.

		The backdrop of the Sawyer family was loosely based on the serial killer Edward Gein.
		Papa Sawyer gleefully prods at Sally with a broken broom handle as if she were one of the cows down at the slaughterhouse (The movie states that Pop works at the slaughterhouse along with his sons, as well as working at the gas station.)
		When the characters stop at the gas station they ask Sawyer if he knows where the Franklin house is. Now, the house in question had obviously not been lived in for many many years, so it strikes me odd that anyone would recognize it by the name Franklin House.

		Jim Siedow played Drayton Sawyer (I hope I spelled Drayton correctly) in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre part 1 and part 2 movies.
