	Dreadzone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Dreadzone are a British band whose music is an eclectic fusion of dub, reggae, techno, trance, and folk.
		Dreadzone formed in 1993 when ex-Big Audio Dynamite drummer Greg Roberts teamed up with Tim Bran, who had previously worked as a musician and sound engineer for Julian Cope.
		In the meantime, Dreadzone had become a favourite festival act and in June that year played the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival.

		I guess Dreadzone can be forgiven for this cheeky rendition of their album track 'Iron Shirt', which in turn is a remake of the 70's classic 'I Chase The Devil' by Max Romeo & the Upsetters (produced by Lee Scratch Perry).

		It was very nice to find out there was a mutual admiration between the two bands, they've got a good show together, it's dramatic, it's great!
		SPOIL: The Dreadzone live set-up is a more traditional show with live instruments.
		It's not a case of this band being better than that band, it's all part of the wider spectrum, on one side you have The Orb, on another Underworld, and then stuff like Dreadzone and we're all spinning round but we each have our own different place...
