I can easily see how the first Driders are Drow based only since it was more or less a honor to be a drider back then, but now it is mainly used as a curse and punishment.
When I saw the Drider stuff and how much a difference there was in each race it just seemed obvious to me. I made sure to put a lot of thought into before posting since I didn't want to look stupid.
A light elf drider would probably be enslaved as a useful if dangerous asset by the drow or outright put down depending, the drowussu might accept the dridersu but with some revulsion, they like their racial purity but also adore their spiders of all kinds.

I was shocked at how good 2 Driders were, specifically because of how they interact with each other, in a way I had never thought of.
The obvious lack of synergy with 2 Driders is versus lightning immunes, and to a lesser extent Spell Resistance.
It becomes so much harder to lock up either Drider in melee, when there is another Drider around to save him, by using Baleful Transposition to switch him with a fodder piece (or a buff fighter).
