Kildare Nationalist: GAA: Poor refereeing decision costs Droichead Nua win
DROICHEAD Nua’s first team met Muckross in last weekend’s Leinster Division 6 game in Dublin and were perhaps disappointed to come away with a draw, having been well on top of the opposition and having garnered the majority of play in the match.
For the remainder of the first half, Droichead Nua were well on top of their opposition with Karen Keane and Tracey Collins unlucky not to add to the scoreline following some excellent forward and midfield inter-change plays.
There was little the Droichead Nua defence could have done about the score and perhaps they were more disappointed by the nature of the refereeing from the Dublin referee rather than the goal scored.
