		A drop tank is an expendable external fuel tank carried by aircraft for long-range flights.
		Such tanks are now commonplace on military aircraft and occasionally for civilian use, although civilians are less likely to discard tanks except in the event of extreme emergency.

		I am in need of some 3 views and or cross sections for f16 center drop tank.
		I was thinking of making a tank using the lost foam method and I just didn't want to start from scratch and I thought someone would have some cross sections views of the f16 center tanks.
		I don't know if this will be of any help, but Jet-Tech (Gary Mueller) makes a scale centerline tank designed for the BVM F-16 that will carry 76oz of fuel (could be smoke oil I guess).

		Now this may seem counter intuitive to keep an electrical device inside a tank full of volatile gasoline that will eventually be sparked into combustion by an electric spark at the combustion chamber, but this system seems to be relatively safe and we do not hear of cars blowing themselves up on a frequent basis.
		But driving your car with less than half a tank of gas on a regular basis, particularly in hot weather is guaranteed to put extra wear on your fuel pump by denying it the cooling that a full tank of gas provides.
