Drudge transmitted the report from Los Angeles, California by e-mail to his direct subscribers and by posting both a headline and the full text of the Blumenthal story on his world wide web site.
Drudge may not advertise in physical locations or local newspapers in Washington, D.C., the subject matter of the Drudge Report is directly related to the political world of the Nation's capital and is quintessentially "inside the Beltway" gossip and rumor.

Those who claim Drudge Report is unfair are probably the same people who will claim something is 'right-wing propaganda' simply because it doesn't have articles praising Fidel Castro or using headlines to brainwash readers into hating all Republicans (like the NY Times does).
Drudge's ability to stay ahead of the news cycles and his sometimes ecletic choice of stories is the reason why I've opted out of watching mindless network news and why I check his site almost hourly at work, before I go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning.
Drudge's radio show is like nothing on the air: A chaotic, open mike accented with a rather sophisticated choice of music and always with a dose of Radiohead, soundtrack for our modern era of political and technologial uncertainty.

Politically I tend to agree more with David Brock-the-pundit than with Matt Drudge, and David is more astute and focused in many ways...but I think his sense of integrity is superficial in many ways.
I would point out that Drudge Radio is a fairly right-wing show.
To be fair, there are still plenty of long-winded people who make it onto Drudge, and the worst of it is that he'll keep them on if he agrees with them.
