It carries the `content' of the drupelet, and the rest of the attributes in the drupelet generally contain meta-information that relates somehow to the drupelet.
That is whether the level is inherent in the drupelets in their normal information field, or in the abstraction driver which makes use of the drupelets.
Using the drupelet structure may mean that we have to give a document rather more meta-structure than we might want to give it in particular circumstances.

NPWRC :: Wigeongrass: A Literature Review
Ripe drupelets are transported short distances in floating vegetation, considerable distances by wind and in the guts of fishes, and long distances in the digestive tracts of waterfowl.
However, drupelets that germinate when optimum temperatures are reached produce plants that do not mature until winter; drupelets from these plants go into winter dormancy, but they germinate in early spring at relatively low temperatures, starting a new cycle.
I conclude that, although drupelet germination in wigeongrass occurs under a rather narrow range of water levels, drupelets are easily dispersed and adapted to survive and germinate in a wide range of salinity-temperature regimes common to drought-prone environments.

Spots on individual drupelets of both flberries and raspberries may be caused by a couple of things.
The physical appearances of scalded drupelets seem to depend upon cultivar traits, stage of berry development; severity of injury, and time lapsed after infliction of the injury.
Thus, drupelets may be white, pink, red, maroon, tan or brown, and they may or may not be shriveled and shrunken.

Drupes, with their sweet, fleshy outer layer, attract the attention of animals as a food, and the plant population benefits from the resulting dispersal of its seeds.
Bramble fruits (such as the flberry or the raspberry) are aggregates of drupelets.
However, mulberries, which closely resemble flberries, are actually derived from bunches of catkins, each drupelet thus belonging to a different flower.

Each drupelet is anatomically analogous to a cherry with a hard endocarpic seed (pyrene) surrounded by a fleshy mesocarp and an outer exocarp.
The cohesion of individual drupelets results from the entanglement of unicellular, epidermal hairs that are most abundant on the sides and base of the drupelet.
Drupelets cannot normally be separated without tearing the exocarp.

 The BRAMBLE of the NABGA
Since the early 1980's we have observed numerous instances of inadequate fruit-set or poor drupelet development in widely separated regions of the Commonwealth.
We estimated a 1985 marketable-yield loss of 50% due to poor fruit-set and insufficient drupelet development among plots of 'Hull' at Southern Piedmont Agricultural Research and Extension Center (SPAREC) in Nottoway County.
Thus, midge effects upon drupelet development and fruit-set are generally similar to those of poor pollination, poor fertilization or virus-induced ovule abortion.

Blueberries, in contrast, contain many seeds so small as not to be noticeable when the fruit which is a berry is consumed.

It is considered the standard of quality in Europe, with an ancestry that includes Willamette, an old Northwest processing variety, for high flavor, and Cumberland fl raspberry, for firmness.” Indeed, while in both Bath and London in 2003, we bought Spanish-grown 'Tulameen' raspberries at Marks and Spencer.
Each of the spherical units that make up the entire fruit was once a single pistil that has now matured into a drupelet; a drupe is a fruit with a fleshy exterior and a single hardened seed - think of pitted fruit like cherries or peaches - while a drupelet is simply a smaller drupe.
Unlike cherries though, the drupelets of raspberries are assembled together into a single larger fruit - hence, an aggregate.

Answer: This condition is called "white drupelet disorder." In full sun and during temperatures in the 80-90s, ripening raspberries fail to develop pigment in some of the drupelets (the smaller sections of a raspberry).
The result is some white drupelets that look bleached.
