| | GamePC reviews Tyan's Thunder K8W Dual Opteron board - 2CPU.com Discussion Forums |
 | | While the board is a bit on the pricey side, if you want nearly every possible feature available on a dual Opteron platform, there's no other choice compared to Tyan. |
 | | Dual Opteron CPU's, up to 16GB of DDR, AGP 8x, PCI-X, Firewire, PCI-X Gigabit LAN, Quad Channel Serial ATA, there aren't many more features one could think to put on a high-end workstation board such as this. |
 | | Boards may or may not have absolutely everything, and in.01% of situations it may be a deciding factor, but given the options, USB1.1 and 1394 would be fine for me. Since I have more USB and 1394 devices than woulbd be supported onboard anyway, I use the Adaptec Duoconnect USB2.0/1394 adapter. |
