The bottom line is that Duane Chapman had no authority whatsoever to affect the arrest of anyone, regardless of their citizenship or fugitive status, in Mexico… period.
Chapman should serve the time for the crime he has committed, then learn to move beyond it -- which is precisely the lesson he teaches to all the 'students' that he and his family have arrested over the years.
Chapman broke the laws of of Mexico by committing an act of kidnapping upon a person in a sovereign nation (regardless of how bad or good a person it happened to be).
