Dub, as a studio extension of reggae, dwells more on the three as anything else, though it also places plenty of emphasis on the afterbeat in general.
Dub has curiously found a nurturing home in Germany, where it has a huge fan base and the kind of exposure to keep it breathing.
Marley originally recorded “War” on his 1976 record Rastaman Vibration with the Wailers, using lyrics taken from a 1963 UN speech by Selassie, founder of the Organization of African Unity.

 Dub Review :: Read Review
Considering that it was a dub during the mid-1990's (a time where dubs were on the average side), the OVA Record Of Lodoss War series had a solid if not perfect English production, complete with a decent vocal cast and a lot of memorable quotes.
While there are some who found this dub for the TV series entertaining, others (who perhaps were never fans of the original Lodoss War dub to begin with) have called it a lot of things, including "horrible", or "awful" and the whole bunch of other words anti-dub fans would use.
Some dub haters were really turned off by Regan's performance; while Regan says that he thought it was best suited for the role (and I basically agree), his early readings of Parn come off as a bit jarring, especially if you're so used to the boyish, spunky teenager he was in the OVA.

 Review - New Born Creation : Power Reggae Part 1 ~ Love Not War
The band was formed and blended when the first members came together through Jah guidance in 1992, but it lasted until the end of 1994 that the purchase of a drumkit, guitars and amps, marked the official start of the band.
All this can be experienced while listening to their solid "Power Reggae Part 1 ~ Love Not War" set, actually a very enjoyable and solid modern roots set due to the all-live instrumentation, the fine musical arrangements, the lyrical delivery and decent vocal performances.
With "Power Reggae Part 1 ~ Love Not War" New Born Creation have proven to be a name to watch in the near future when it comes to well executed modern roots rock reggae.

Those who really enjoyed the "Techno Party" CD will be delighted with Mad Professor's dub treatment of that particular collection of tunes as it once again brings them a sometimes bizarre yet enjoyable album.

 Pantheon | Catalog | The Last Day of the War by Judith Claire Mitchell
I'm no historian and I'd never had any special interest in World War One, but I was intrigued by the dissonance between Wee's youthful exuberance and the terrible things she was witnessing firsthand.
I'm fascinated by the fact that although we are taught that the last day of World War One was November 11, 1918–and, of course, that was the last day–the issues and conditions that caused the war continued unresolved far beyond that date.
With respect to my novel, the last day of the war for Dub Hagopian and Yale White is the day Dub decides he has done all he is willing to do to avenge the massacres and makes his own imperfect and uneasy peace with the world.

With War in Heaven (1998), David Zindell has concluded one of the most extraordinary narratives in SF history.
What makes the Neverness Quartet (as one might dub War in Heaven and its three predecessors) so remarkable is that it is, simultaneously, an admirably ambitious, luminously poetic work of philosophical space opera and an interminable religiose wallow.
When Zindell is creatively inspired, he is one of SF’s paragons; when his attention preachily wanders, the result is a shambles.
