The Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (Irish: Cummann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Contae Ath Cliath) or Dublin GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic Games in County Dublin.
Dublin are the reigning Leinster football champions following a one point victory over Laois in July while the hurlers retained their status in the Liam McCarthy Cup this year.
Dublin and Meath were involved in the most famous of Leinster championship encounters in 1991, the Dublin and Meath 4 in-a-row.

Footballers and hurlers at one of Ireland's best-known GAA clubs have been banned from playing because of their refusal to subscribe to the club's new mandatory weekly lotto.
The players from St Vincent's GAA Club in Dublin's Marino were refused access to the club pitch on Sunday by club officials despite the fact their opposing team, Innisfail from Balgriffin, in north Dublin, was waiting for them on the playing field.
A GAA spokesman said because the scheme was passed at an a.g.m., it was an internal club matter.

I was reading about them in the Dublin year book 04, they're only in their 6th year and they have 800 members.
While they are a great addition to Dublin GAA, their formation was opposed by St Brigids which was, at the time, one of the biggest clubs in the country.

A rather unimpressive Dublin side narrowly beat an even less impressive Westmeath side last night in front of a capacity (10,000) crowd at Dublin's Parnell Park to bag two points in the Allianz NFL Division 1A match.
The first half included a succession of poor wides by Dublin's forwards, but Westmeath failed to capitalise on the mistakes of their opponents, finishing the half with just three points.
The second half was a slightly better contest with a sudden burst of energy by the Westmeath forwards producing several points to bring the game back to level pegging at 0-8 to 0-8.
