		Don Rosa says: "The Duck family must be British according to Barks' story "Back to Long Ago" which showed that the McDucks and Ducks were both from the British Isles".
		Nothing further is known about the family before Humperdink Duck appears in Duckburg in the late 19th century as the husband of Elvira "Grandma Duck" Coot and thus connected bands between the Ducks and the famous Coot family in Duckburg.

		According to the article, this family tree was reproduced in a fanzine prior to Worden's 1981 illustrated version.
