  Personal Gamming Narrative
In one game I could be a cowboy, using the joystick to maneuver up and down the screen (the precious stick-man I was) to shoot either a bouncing ball or an opponent, most likely played by my mother.
She also had a game that would send me on a quest to do something that I never did, so I can’t relate the final goal to you (it was called Adventure).
We had games such as Number Munchers, which allowed us as little green monsters to devour the correct answers to math questions (ie: "Which are the even numbers?") and Oregon Trail, which let us become pioneers destined to die of dysentery on our way across the continent.

 Nintendo Censorship
Video games are often accused of being a somewhat sexist medium, always placing males in the hero role while making women characters weak and submissive.
Unlike PC games of the time, when enemies were killed in Nintendo games their corpses usually vanished quickly, and did not lie around on the floor forever.
Overall however, censorship of video game content is far less widespread today than ever before, and when it does occur it is almost universally a voluntary practice driven by economic/marketing concerns, and not the heavy-handed moralizing of Nintendo of America.

Although Disney's Ducktales was not the studio's first foray into made-for-TV animation, it was the first Disney cartoon effort to be locally syndicated, rather than sold to a national network.
While Ducktales was comic in tone, it devoted much of its running time to fast-paced heroics and cliff-hanging adventures in the tradition of the Indiana Jones films; indeed, the series' opening credit titles bore a striking resemblance to the sort of lettering and graphics favored by Steven Spielberg.
In all, 99 Ducktales episodes were produced, remaining in syndication for nearly a decade, and thereafter running on Disney's various cable outlets.
