Zululand, South Africa - Dudu Zulu, a principal member of Johnny Clegg and Savuka, was shot and killed on May 4, 1992 in his native Zululand as he was en route to his home.
While the precise circumstances of the tragedy are still unknown, the shooting occured in the tribal district of Epishongweni as Zulu was leaving a neighbor's home and returning to his own approximately a half mile away.
The greatest tragedy is that Dudu became a victim during a time of transition towards a new South Africa that he believed in and will never see.

Tarkan performed a total of 74 concerts in Turkey and in Europe with his second album “Aacayipsin” which was released in 1995.
In the meantime, his vision that artists’ works are not limited to albums and video-clips, and his goal to own his own music-production company, were the starting points of ”Hitt Müzik” project.
The "Karma" album, released at the beginning of August, right after the "Kuzu Kuzu" single, met its audience with a chain of concerts, which had started on 7th of August 2001 in Istanbul.

New Gibraltar Encyclopedia of Progressive Rock CE-CM
Celeste's first album, Principe di un Giorno (aka Celeste), is one of the most beautiful and pastoral Progressive albums to come out of Italy, ranking right up their with PFM's monumental Per Un Amico.
The album is at its best in guitarist Tohru Ohta's two compositions, the 19-minute "Color of Soul", where guitar and keyboards give a truly symphonic treatment to strong, at times Asian-flavoured themes, and the lush, classically-influenced "A Dayfly and a Sunflower" with an elegant string arrangement and beautiful high-register vocalise from Hiromi Fujimoto.
I find most of these albums stretch out farther than their material would warrant, but those who are fond of the repetitive grooves and eerie atmospheres of Can particularly could well be taken by some of them.

 Voiceprint Music - LCVP129CD
Although this is primarily an instrumental jazz album, there is nothing about it that should deter a newcomer to the jazz scene, quite the contrary in fact, since a variety of styles are demonstrated here, including several excursions into the rock and blues arenas.
The album opens with 'To Dudu', a piece which is dedicated to South African born Alto Sax player Dudu Pukwana who died in 1990.
All things considered this album is a very well rounded work, with its strong mix of vibrant and mellow tones and, while 'Naked' would serve well as an introduction to the genre, it is sure to equally satisfy the more committed fan.
