Chopped Ilocano "longganisa" (a Filipino sausage, which is different from that of the Vigan longganisa) and some vegetables, is placed at the center of a paper-thin round orange wrapper, over which an egg is cracked and the wrapper closed in the manner of a calzone, ready for deep frying.
This church is also one of the old churches Ilocos is known for, but it is not as grandiose as the Paoay church, as it has been renovated and repainted already.
