  Duncan Campbell
Duncan Campbell was an Scots nobleman who died on July 18, 1758, as a result of wounds received in a frontal attack against French forces at Fort Carillon (Fort Ticonderoga).
The legend associated with Campbell is that three years previously, Campbell gave shelter to a stranger who turned out to have killed Duncan's brother.
The ghost of Campell's brother is claimed to have appeared to Campbell in a dream and promised to meet him again at "Ticonderoga" a place that he surely had never heard of.

Revival On The Isle Of Lewis by Duncan Campbell
Campbell shared several practical "principles that govern spiritual quickening." The differences between a God-sent revival and the man-centered evangelistic means of his day are truly heart-searching for anyone engaged in work to save men's souls.
Description: Duncan Campbell looks around at all the darkness and apostacy around and answers the question: "Why is revival not coming?" He cites some examples from the past to point out that the God of Elijah is alive and hears the sincere cry of the heart.

Duncan Campbell Scott: The Poet and the Indians
Duncan Campbell Scott (1862-1947) is well known as one of Canada's prominent early literary figures.
He is less famous as a federal civil servant who rose to become a powerful head of the Indian Department, and who, from 1913 to 1932, implemented the most repressive and brutal assimilation programs Canada ever levied against its native peoples.
DUNCAN CAMPBELL SCOTT: THE POET AND THE INDIANS centers on that treaty expedition, exploring the apparent contradiction between Scott the sensitive and respected poet, and Scott the ruthless enforcer of Canada's most tyrannical Indian policies.
