Dungeons and Dragons is an open-ended "make-believe" game in which players choose which actions their characters will take and the results of those actions are determined using the rules of the game, which govern everything from combat to social interaction.
Dungeons and Dragons 2: Wrath of the Dragon God, a made-for-TV sequel, was first aired on the Sci-Fi Channel on October 8th, 2005.
Dungeons and Dragons remains the best-known and best-selling RPG, with an estimated 20 million players worldwide and over US$1 billion in book and equipment sales (as of 2004 according to a BBC news report).

The Runescape Tutorial is designed for all new players, and all new players (ie: any "new character" you create) are required to go through the tutorial completely in order to get into the rest of the "game".
So, you want to play Runescape, or have played it for a while already but are dirt poor with no belongings and you want to start over.

Dungeons & Dragons looks like they threw away the game and photographed the box it came in.
The special effects work fine for minor acts of magic, but the climactic aerial dragon fight is lame, and most of the performances are at the level of high school plays.
I am a dungeon master (and published author in over a dozen D&D books) and I have to deal with that kind of gamer all the time...
