Nottingham - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nottingham is a city (and county town of Nottinghamshire) in the East Midlands of England.
Nottingham was later captured by the Danes (Vikings) and in the 9th century became one of the five boroughs (fortified towns) of the Danelaw.
Nottingham is home to two football teams: Nottingham Forest (currently in the Football League One) (who under their most famous manager, the late Brian Clough, won the European Cup twice in succession) and Notts County (who play in the Football League Two).

Background Both the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University are expanding organisations which are of major economic and cultural importance to the Greater Nottingham conurbation.
Parts of Nottingham, notably Dunkirk and Lenton, already experience these effects, and there is some concern that the impact of students will spread further outwards in the conurbation and could eventually have a similar impact on Beeston.
It confirms that a balanced community, as referred to in national guidance and the Nottingham local plan, is defined as one which is not dominated by one household type, one tenure of housing, or size and type of housing, and which also has adequate access to services and jobs.

 Rolls Royce Vs Holbrook
The league leaders Dunkirk beat the Brookies 2-1 in a league fixture and unfortunately, another defeat, this time 3-1 saw the Miners dumped out of the league cup.
Despite a plucky second half by Holbrook, Dunkirk increased their lead through the excellent Nangle on 58 minutes when he had time and space to pick his spot.
With both sides making substitutions, Holbrook had their best spell of the match in which James Newton saw a shot hit the foot of a post before he deservedly hammered in a consolation goal on 85 minutes.
