The Dunmer themselves, previously known as the Chimer, or 'changed folk' due to their worship of the Daedra, rather than the Aedra (Gods) worshipped by the other Aldmer in Summerset, traditionally gained their dark skin as a result of the Battle of Red Mountain.

Regardless of lore, I always thought the default Dunmer eyes were hideous and were pretty much an obstacle to me playing as them.
All this mod does is change the eye data specifically for the Dunmer race.
Thanks for this, I have been wanting to make a good-looking Dunmer lady for ages but not able to do so because I too hate the pink eyes! BTW I have Beautiful People which includes Elaborate Eyes of course.
