A typical Dutch daytime snack is the raw herring, which is sold and eaten (sometimes with chopped onions) in markets, by lifting the herring high in the air by its tail, and eating it upwards.

This is not to be confused with Pennsylvania "Dutch" which is actually German -- an English corruption of the word "deutsch".
I know there are large Dutch communities in Michigan and in Canada so there are sources to order imported Dutch baked goods such as stroopwafels (YUM, YUM!), but I am not aware of any restaurants serving Dutch cuisine.
The Dutch food I had in the 50's and 60's was usally a mix of German and Dutch.
