Dutchess Stadium - Fishkill, New York
Built in 1994 (in just three months time), it is rather typical of the class A minor league stadiums constructed at the same time.
There are three different kinds of seating - box seats which are nice wide fold down chairs with plenty of leg room, reserved seating which are bucket seats (making them a bit cramped), and aluminum benches with backs that are both uncomfortable and cramped.
Overall, Dutchess Stadium is not a bad park, just not one of my favorites, mainly due to the metal seating and the promotions that seem to excite the fans more than the game itself.

Daily Freeman - Reserve fund may be tapped for stadium repairs
Although funding for construction of the stadium was originally supposed to come from donations and short-term loans from the county, the county was forced to step in and issue some $3.5 million in bonds to bail out the foundering project.
The Stadium Corp. is obligated as part of the bailout to turn over to the county all net proceeds from the operation of the stadium.
MacDonald said requiring that the Stadium Corp. use part of its annual proceeds, rather than the reserve funds, to make the repairs would reduce the money that comes back to the county's general fund coffers, but that it was of little consequence.

Daily Freeman - Reserve fund will be used for stadium repairs
Robert Ostertag, chairman of the Hudson Valley Stadium Corp., the not-for-profit agency that operates the Fishkill stadium for the county, said the money will be used to repair the stadium's scoreboard, fire-protection system, rain gutters, ice maker and sound system.
Ostertag said the only obligation the Stadium Corp. has to Dutchess County is to run the stadium and turn over to the county its net revenues.
That the county forces the Stadium Corp. to use some of the revenue it generates to make repairs to the facility makes it appear the Stadium Corp. generates less revenue for the county than it actually does.

Dutchess Stadium was certainly a nice enough venue: though it lacked the old-time charm of Yale Field, the green surroundings provided a perfect summertime backdrop to the show.
Dylan himself was downright energetic, pounding the keyboard, spastically bobbing his head on the drumbeats on Highway 61 and coming out to center stage to perform an strange, unsteady dance during a guitar jam later in the show.
