		The Musou Mode is the basic story mode of Dynasty Warriors 4 in which players will choose one of the three characters each committed to a different leader and each with a separate storyline that relates to it.
		Despite how it first appears Dynasty Warriors is not strictly a button-bashing hack-and-slash game, there are a lot of RPG style elements to both the characters (officers and bodyguards) as well as the weapons which the carry.

		Dynasty Warriors 3 on the PS2 was a bit of a surprise for me. Coming from nowhere, the title really made me fall in love with it from the very first play.
		Seemingly hundreds of warriors on screen at any one time, kill counts that ran into triple figures and battles that lasted for hours made sure that the game was one that stood up and made itself known.
		You see, whilst Dynasty Warriors was always a great game for occasional play, any repeated play time was often rewarded with a distinct feeling of repetition, as each mission is essentially the same, with you being pitted against the enemy, either hunting down one commander or defending a base against an onslaught.

		When I first encountered the Japanese version of Dynasty Warriors 2 I was an employee of a video game company and usually spent my four hours of weekly free time doing anything but playing video games in an ultimately futile attempt to preserve my sanity.
		Such was DW2's seductive power, however, that I spent an entire weekend with it, engaging in one of those wonderful nonstop gaming sessions during which you sleep on the couch and pause only to use the restroom (although the bladders of truly hardcore gamers have sufficiently expanded as to render bathroom breaks unnecessary).
		Dynasty Warriors 4 is the third sequel to DW2 in two and a half years, after DW3 and DW3XL, and it makes only incremental improvements to the gameplay formula, as with the first and second sequel.
