A third defendant, Jamie Olis, Dynegy's former director for tax planning, pleaded not guilty on July 1 to charges of fraud and conspiracy.
The three employees were fired in February and were accused of helping inflate Dynegy's revenue by $300 million using a series of natural gas trades with a special-purpose entity.
Dynegy agreed in September to pay $3 million to settle S.E.C. charges of deceiving investors.
