	Nigel John Taylor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		John Taylor (born Nigel John Taylor on June 20, 1960 in Birmingham, England) is an English bass guitarist and co-founder of the New Romantic band Duran Duran.
		Taylor played guitar when Duran Duran was founded, but switched to bass guitar after discovering the funky rhythms of CHIC, and learned to enjoy the rhythm section playing with Duran's newly recruited drummer Roger Taylor.
		In 2001, Taylor reunited with the other original members of Duran Duran to record new material, and demonstrated his commitment to the band by inking an enormous linked-D's tattoo on his arm.

		Hayley Taylor's debut EP came out last week at her EP release show at The Hotel Cafe, and it sure would have been nice to be there.

		Taylor Sorensen and, labelmate, Shaun Groves are both doing live TV tapings with a studio audience in Nashville, Tenn., on June 21 in the afternoon.
		Taylor and a few other artists are performing to support a group of independent artists (the HOPEaLOUD project) that are writing and recording a CD that will benefit The Living Hope Center, an HIV/AIDS hospice in Cape Town, South Africa.
		The EP’s title, The Fill, as well as the title for the full-length CD, The Overflow, take their names from a quote in John Piper’s book, Desiring God: “Love is the overflow of joy in God which gladly meets the needs of others.” The Overflow is tentatively scheduled for a Spring 2004 release.
