	ITAG: Enterprise Architecture Guide
		The MIT Enterprise Architecture Guide (EAG) documents MIT's architectural principles and goals, the current state of MIT's enterprise architecture, and a future state architectural vision.
		Finally, the EAG will assist project team members in identifying whom to contact to mitigate risks in different aspects of their project.
		Additionally, the EAG will be used during the project review process to provide a consistent representation of the context and principles of both the current and future state.

	Background
		EAG and Kcnq transcripts are prominent in several types of excitatory neurons in the cortex and hippocampus, however only one of these channel components (erg1) was consistently expressed in inhibitory interneurons in these areas.
		Kv, KCNQ and EAG proteins are members of the S4 superfamily of proteins which also includes the ISK and Slo families, components of Ca2+-activated K+ channels, as well as the components of cyclic-nucleotide-gated channels, the a subunits of voltage-gated Na+ and Ca2+ channels, and the components of pacemaker (Ih) channels.
		Although EAG proteins share with Kv subunits all the main features of proteins of the S4-superfamily, the sequence similarity between EAG and Kv proteins is only ~20% within the hydrophobic core or membrane portion of the proteins, suggesting the two families are only distantly related.

		The EAG examined whether it would be possible to develop more quantitative targets for some or all of the areas; it concluded that this was not practicable and that the objectives, as formulated in the working document, were sufficient to define clearly the scope and intent of the programme.
		The EAG expressed concern that some of the objectives in the working document may be overly ambitious and that they should be made more practicable in order to be achievable within the programme constraints.
		The EAG recommended two more important modifications/additions to the RT activities in the generic research on radiological sciences: firstly, to include research on the exposure of air crew to cosmic radiation and, secondly, to better define the scope of research to be carried out in the area of genomic instability.

		EAG measurements from female Caribbean fruit flies, A. suspensa (Loew), showed that ammonia generated a significantly larger EAG response in sexually immature flies than in mature flies.

	EAG sports decided
		The 21 competition sports for the 2009 EAG are aquatics, athletics, table-tennis, cycling, squash, rowing, badminton, windsurfing, wushu, tenpin bowling, football, hockey, volleyball, tennis, bodybuilding, shooting, basketball, weightlifting, billiards, judo and taekwondo, while the two exhibition items are rugby sevens and dancesport.
		In the 2005 EAG in Macau, 17 sports were held.
		The 5th EAG would be held in Hong Kong in December 2009 - the first time ever for a major international multi-sport event to be held in our history.

	Individual Stocks: Update on EAG
		In the Jan 20 conference call, it was announced that EAG has signed a distribution agreement with SAIC to distribute the Orb'Phone Exchange (this was announced in a PR yesterday).
		What was not announced in a PR yet but was announced in the conference call is that they have also signed a joint marketing agreement with IBM to market EAG's bundled digital services (BDS).
		I have to believe that if General Dynamics, SAIC, and IBM think enough of EAG's products/services to be associated with them, it can only mean good things for the future.
