		ECW was founded in 1992, under the name Eastern Championship Wrestling as a member of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).
		ECW on TNN was cancelled in October 2000 (with the final episode airing on October 6, 2000) in favor of WWE RAW moving to the network.
		ECW Living Dangerously was going to air on March 11, 2001, but because of financial trouble it was cancelled before March 11.

		Van Dam defeated John Cena for the WWE Championship at ECW One Night Stand 2006 on June 11, 2006, and was awarded the ECW World Heavyweight Championship by Paul Heyman on June 13, 2006, while still the WWE Champion (making him the first person to hold both titles).

	As I See It
		With ECW's well-publicized money problems, it is literally insane for the company to turn away hundreds of people (with their badly needed ticket and merchandise revenue) at each Arena show; even with the fact that each and every ECW Arena show violates every fire law in the city of Philadelphia.
		Strictly ECW, the ECW fans lobby (that I've often said is more efficient and dedicated at what passes for the ECW "office") has sent out information to lobby potential national carriers for ECW all over the Internet and asked that it be posted.
		ECW workers leaving the company is not a matter of dedication or commitment to ECW by its workers, popularly known by some of the company's fans as "selling out".

		With regard to the PTW Heavyweight Championship belt which is currently held by The Bruiser who is also the MCW Heavyweight Champion, it seems that he and his opponent Corporal Punishment have a long and violent history.
		As far as the Tag Team Championships that were to be decided in a 2 show tournament starting with "The Inaugural Brawl" on November 16, 2002 some changes have been made.
		This was to be a 3 way tag team dance but due to the tactics of the Holy Rollers, PTW officials have made the decision to allow the Backseat Boys a chance for revenge against the Holy Rollers and their menacing bodyguard Church.

		I wasn't into the original ECW, as I was a little late joining the wrestling "revival," but I've seen enough clips to know that crap like the "new" ECW shouldn't even be on the air.
		It was evident on Monday night that ECW would not be given much of a chance but tonight was the icing on the cake.
