The GP60 was a development of the 3,500-horsepower GP50, and the two models share similar dimensions but differ in detail.
The GP60 is still available with either standard cab shown on these Santa Fe units or the wide “Comfort Cab” as shown on the GP60M as Santa Fe 105 in the January 1997 issue of “The Journal.” We’ll have a “Profile” article on the GP50 and GP60 in a future issue.
“Diesels, One-Detail-At-A-Time” articles on the Electro-Motive Corporation’s standard-cab version of the GP60 as EMD “Demo” unit 5 appeared in the June 1995 issue of “The Journal,” the Cotton Belt version of the GP60 appeared in the March 1993 issue, and the high-hood Southern 7063 and 7065 appeared in the December 2000 issue.

The Gauge - Model Train Forum - Scale Railroad Discussion & Model Trains - LifeLike experiences
I've been thinking of buying (online) a LifeLike GP60, EMD Demonstrator, Oakway Leasing...but am just a bit hesitant.
I don't have an N-gauge for the inside track dimension to check the wheel accuracy, but there is more side to side movement than the Kato's and Altas diesels I run.
I have noticed a quality difference in the double-pack Life Like engines verses the single engine packaged and sold...but I'm guesing they are not supposed to be the same in quality/fit/finish as the other engines they sell considering the price.

Union Pacific runs a train for Vulcan Materials on the Kenosha Sub (former CandNW Old Line) from Vulcan's quarry at Ives (Caledonia), Wisconsin to their reload facility on the Kenosha Industrial Lead (former Farm Sub), north of Bain Station Road and west of WIS-31 in Pleasant Prairie.
The train typically runs with a pair of UP four-axle EMDs; GP15-1s used to be common, and GP60s have run the train the past few years, but GP38-2s and GP39-2s have shown up on the train as well.
Most of the cars are the red-to-pink Vulcan VULX hoppers, although leased fl cars from ITGX are also used.
