USAID supported a project to complete the EN1, linking southern Mozambique and its two largest cities - Maputo and Beira - to the north, where much of the country's people and agriculture are centered.
In 1999, USAID-funded road crews began constructing and rehabilitating 150 miles (240 kilometers) of the EN1 between Gorongosa and Caia, where the Zambezi River divides the country.
The EN1 is now a paved, all-weather highway with modern signposting.

Because EN1 does not have a network node server yet, it answers "yes." Although an end node can have connections to more than one node, it can only have one network node server at a time.
EN1 asks NN1 to find LUY and determine what path through the network should be used.
EN1 asks NN1 to find EN3 and determine what path through the network should be used.
Working in collaboration with Dr. Alexandra Joyner, also at the NYU School of Medicine, we have shown that Engrailed-1 (En1), a homeodomain-containing transcription factor, is essential for dorsal-ventral patterning of the developing limb and overlying skin.
Loss of En1 function results in the loss of ventral (palmar) limb structures, such as sweat glands and sesamoid bones, and the ventral duplication of dorsal paw structures, such as hairs and nails.
In the absence of En1, the AER precursor cells are delayed in their initiation of the morphogenetic movements necessary to form a tightly compacted ridge along the distal limb margin.
En1 is expressed in the ventral ectoderm and ventral half of the pre-AER in a stage 2 limb bud (B) and at stage 3 in the ventral ectoderm and ventral half of the mature AER (C).
In wild-type embryos in whole mount (A) and in cross section (B), En1 is expressed ventrally up to the D/V midline of the AER (A,B, green arrow); Wnt7a is expressed in the dorsal ectoderm up to the dorsal margin of the AER (A,B, blue arrow).

One role is in regulating the size of the pool of cells that form the cerebellum, and the other is in proper foliation.
Since we have found that the En genes are expressed in lateral stripes in the late embryonic cerebellum, it is possible that this late patterned expression regulates foliation, after the size of the cerebellum has been determined (Millen et al., 1995).
We are now carrying out studies to determine when during development En1 and En2 are required for to determine the size of the cerebellum and foliation pattern.
En1 is not required for the survival, migration, or expression
Many En1+ cells migrate ventrally after they are generated from the region of the ventricular zone (VZ) between white arrowheads.

Roles of En1, Wnt7a and Lmx1b in Nail Patterning and Development(Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-29)
These genes are involved in a complex interplay between ectoderm and mesenchyme to govern dorsal-ventral patterning during early limb development.
In contrast, En1, a homeodomain-containing transcriptional regulator expressed by volar ectoderm, represses both early nail patterning and morphogenesis as well as later nail differentiation of the ectoderm.
In the absence of En1 gene function, the ectoderm overlying ventral paw pads is capable of differentiating into nail-like structures, even if these pads are duplicated on the dorsal surface of the limb, as they are in Wnt7a and Lmx1b mutant mice.
I assume that a node address is translated to a IP address in the EN1.
I can't help you with the EN1 MicroLogix specificsm, but before you get too far down the primrose path you had better check on compatibility of the other two ethernet devices with the A-B emmbodiment of ethernet.
Ethernet just makes sure the two devices can exhange information packets, but it is necessary to have the sender and receiver use the same structure inside the packet to allow the receiver to understand the request and provide the info the sender is asking for.
The approximate level of the plane of section is shown in the inset drawing in E that includes the Renshaw cell region in lamina VII.

For live, non-loopback networks, en1 is the only one that exists.
But when generating traffic explicitly targeted at an address clearly on the loopback network, the program should not be selecting a non-loopback network to use for transmitting those packets.
