	OLYMPIC
		ERT SA (Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation) is the Public Radio-Television Organization with the mission -as defined in law 1730/87- to provide radio and television services contributing to the information, education and entertainment of the Greek people in Greece and all over the world.
		The formal history of Greek Radio begins in 1938 with the programmes of the Athens Radio Station and continues with the establishment of the National Broadcasting Corporation (EIR), which grew into a highly active organization with three nationwide broadcasting programmes plus transmissions abroad for the benefit of the Greeks abroad.
		By Law 1730, all television and radio stations are integrated in 1987, and a single radio and television corporation is created under the name ERT SA (Hellenic Radio and Television), at the same time, a decision is made to establish a regional radio and television station, ERT-3 for Northern Greece with Thessaloniki as its venue.
