Nederland is ook vertegenwoordigd in het hoofdkwartier van EUFOR Althea in Sarajevo.

Eufor spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Thierry Fusalba told a news conference that the situation in the vast city was "calm but volatile".
He added that it was "very difficult" to enforce troop containment in a country where soldiers feel that they own their own guns and where barracks are not usually equipped with proper arms storage facilities.
Eufor has a thousand soldiers in Kinshasa and a thousand more held in reserve in Gabon, to help keep the DRC's fragile electoral process on the rails.

EUFOR has said it returned fire in self-defense and suffered no causalities in the late Thursday shootout in the eastern Bosnian town of Rogatica.
An Italian contingent of EUFOR on Thursday attempted to arrest Abazovic, a former major in the Bosnian Serb army, indicted for war crimes against Bosniaks (Bosnian Muslims) during the 1992-1995 war.
In a letter to EUFOR commander Italian General Gian Marco Chiarini, Cavic said that no matter what mandate EUFOR was given, “no one has the right to take an innocent human life by force”.
