		Ever since EZPass was added to the Garden State Parkway, strange things have been happening at the toll booths.
		There are cars going through the EZPass and Cash Receipts lanes, but there is no point in my drawing them, because there were very few and they were not stopped in line.
		I'm not enough of a statistician nor do I have the data to take a guess at the proportions of motorists who use each method, but it certainly seems those proportions are not matched to the proportions of toll booths available.

		Obviously EZPass was angry at me. So a traffic cop came over, asked me for my EZPass, and scanned the barcode on the back before telling me, "It's not working." So I drove through and continued on my trip home.
		So from there on out, I decided I was going to pay all remaining tolls via cash, thus avoiding the ridiculous violation charges that I was going to accrue from evading toll payments.
		Of course, I chose not to pull down my EZPass, since I got confirmation from a traffic cop (and later a toll worker -- of course, extremely competent) that the my tag was not working.

		Yes, EZPass is now operational for the whole east coast (I went to NC with one this spring) NH was the last of the link.
		But my experience says they really don't track this as long as the toll is paid and the transponder remains with the original owner, or more importantly, the original owner continues to pay the bills without complaint.
		I actually read when signing up that you can use one transponder with 2 separate vehicles, as long as they are the same type "auto", "truck", etc, and are both registered to the same person, and the ezpass account is private and not a business account.

		I have ez pass mounted inside our 04 v-70, up behind the rearview mirror on the passenger side, no technical problems with it deductiing tolls from my account, my wife however comments that from her vantage point in the pssgr seat it distracts her.
		I mounted it on the windshield behind the mirror on my 04 V70 but then had to remove it a drop it down a little for it to register properly.
		I have my EZPass mounted inside the grille using zipties.

		the only thime ezpass will get you is if your going over 45mph through the 15mph lanes, i know several people that have gotten warnings about speeding through the lanes, and 1 guy got a ticket for speeding through, dont remember the fine.
		A buddy of mine got a ticket without using ezpass, and he wasn't stopped by a trooper either.
		He said when he pulled into the toll both the guy took his ticket and his money, and then said to pull over to the office to receive his citation.

		My EZPass turned up in the post yesterday and I've been having some fun with it.
