Eagle's president, Tom Sundaram (Sundaram), stated in an affidavit and testified at the confirmation hearing that he objected to the arbitration proceeding without a written agreement and that he contended the arbitration would not be binding.
Eagle contends that it was entitled to a jury trial in district court on the issue of whether there was an agreement between the parties to binding arbitration.

In the Palmyra-Eagle School District, this is how administrators are dealing with the state's public school choice initiative: two midwinter presentations to district parents and students; a districtwide public-relations effort to offset the loss of 55 students this year to other districts; and nearly a quarter-million dollars worth of budget cuts thanks to that flight.
There, district officials were still reeling from shifting funds and making cuts to cover an anticipated $300,000 shortfall in the 2000-'01 budget when word came that the district could lose 92students - roughly 7% of its enrollment - who had applied to leave under open enrollment.
The 1,250-student district had just witnessed the demise of its sixth referendum attempt in the last five years, one administrators say is needed to pay for long-standing facility issues and to plug an expanding annual deficit.

The District Eagle Board is a group of senior-level District Scouters who have volunteered to be monitors of all Eagle Projects conducted in the District.
The Eagle Board member will also be sitting on your Board of Review, so it's a very good idea to show up in full Uniform and behave in a polite and respectful manner; i.e., to act like a prospective Eagle Scout.
