The White Earth Band of Chippewa Tribal Council shall appoint a Panel of Elders to be available to advise the court regarding disputes arising under the laws of the White Earth Band of Chippewa when such participation is requested by a party or defendant in such action.
Band members shall express their desire to have a member of the Panel of Elders participate in their case either in writing or orally to the presiding judge of the White Earth Tribal Court.

Rare Earth was an American rock band affiliated with Motown's Rare Earth record label (whch was named after the band) in the late-1960s and 1970s.
The group formed in 1961 as The Sunliners, and, after changing their name to "Rare Earth," were signed to Motown in 1969 The band was the first act signed to a new Motown imprint that would be dedicated to white rock acts.
The personnel lineup changed considerably over the years, with three members of the group dying during the 1980s and 1990s, and the only original member currently left in the group is Bridges.

The reservation was established by a Treaty of March 19, 1867 with Mississippi Band Chippewa.
Born and raised on white Earth (but I don't know her family name) is Olivia Poole, recently honored by Canadian women's engineering societies and history projects for her invention of the wildly popular Baby Jumper (sold all over the web for several hundred dollars) in the mid-1950's.
White Earth can be justly proud of this daughter of true tribal traditions and real Native values, and young people can learn much from her life as a role model.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band was formed in 1971 and its present day line up still consists of two of the original members from the seventies' highly successful days: Manfred Mann on keyboards and Mick Rogers on guitar and vocals, thus reproducing the fans' favourite songs live with ease.
The Earth Band also consists of Steve Kinch on bass guitar, who has been with the band since the 1986 Tour, Noel McCalla, vocalist and percussion, who has worked on two Manfred Mann Albums and toured since 1991, and Pete May on drums who joined for the 2001 European Tour.
It was however with the forming of Earth Band in 1971 that Manfred was able to find the platform for most of his musical output since then.
