Indians, SE Asians, Filipinos, etc. are all Asian in the broadest sense of the term Asian (which is just a made up bullshit term anyways).
There plenty of Asians out there who try to say they are different from all the other Asians, this is what I call a sell out.
I think that "asian" is a rather vagua term, because it has been, and is been, used in many different ways.
