East Riddlesden Hall in West Yorkshire is one of the many historical sites which hosts events for all the family during the year.
East Riddlesden Hall itself was built in the 1640s by the local Murgatroyd family.
East Riddlesden Hall is said to have several, the most famous being the Grey Lady.

In the 1630s the East Riddlesden estate was purchased by James Murgatroyd a rich and respectable clothier and it is he who was largely responsible for the present house.
The Hall was virtually empty when it was saved from dereliction in the 1930s by the Briggs brothers of Keighley.
East Riddlesden Hall is now is the care of the National Trust and they have furnished the merchant's house with 17th century oak furniture, paintings, pewter, embroideries, Delftware and oriental porcelain.

The most glorious September afternoon made East Riddlesden Hall a wonderful venue for our performance for volunteers from the local general hospital.
The venue was too dark for good photographs but we've included some shots taken in the grounds of the hall after the performance.

Over the last couple of years we have been involved in creating the new Orchard Garden which was opened on 13 April 2000.
This unique garden was designed from scratch by the Hall's gardener, Jill Saunders, and provides a wonderful contrast to the adjacent formal garden.
