   The Eastern Suburban Football League, which has 11 youth teams in Macomb and Wayne counties, voted earlier this week to suspend the traditional practice of slapping hands with the opposing team at the end of games.
   Football league officials say the decision was adopted as a precautionary measure over concerns about kids spitting on their hands and slapping hands with opposing teams.
   Keith Blockett, president of the football league, said the decision was prompted by concerned parents and will only be kept in place until the end of the season in November.

Watton United FC (formerly RAF Watton FC) played in the East Anglian League from 1949-50, joining the Anglian Combination in 1964, when it was formed as an amalgamation of the East Anglian League and the Norfolk & Suffolk League.
