Eastham is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, Barnstable County being coextensive with Cape Cod.
Originally settled by the Nauset Indians, Eastham was officially incorporated by the Plymouth Colony Pilgrims in 1651.
Eastham is also bordered by the towns of Wellfleet and Orleans on its northern and southern sides, respectively.

By the time the couple arrived at Eastham on that January morning in 1934, Barrow had shot his way out of numerous confrontations and had been linked to the deaths of five lawmen and several civilians.
