  Marston - Florence Easton
Easton’s was not one of the really great voices, though a very good one which she often used with the most telling effect.
Apparently Easton decided to leave the Met after looking out at the audience during a performance and realizing she didn’t know what opera she was singing or the words and notes.
Easton’s “Habanera” may lack seductive languor and teasing grace, but her smoothly sung version is not without insinuating charm.

Book Review - The Churchill Centre
Churchill's war speeches, collected here by the Easton Press for the first time in nearly half a century, have gone down among the greatest orations in the English language for multiple reasons.
Easton Press correctly chose the superior 1951-52 Definitive Edition of speeches, also published by Cassell, but on much finer paper with typographically superior text.
On the other hand, it doesn't cost $500 either, and Easton's broad market means it will reach many people for whom the earlier editions are either unknown or unobtainable.

Modern Jerusalem "lies near the summit of a broad mountain-ridge, which extends without interruption from the plain of Esdraelon to a line drawn between the southern end of the Dead Sea and the southeastern corner of the Mediterranean." This high, uneven table-land is everywhere from 20 to 25 geographical miles in breadth.
It was anciently known as the mountains of Ephraim and Judah.
The results of excavation have, however, settled most of the disputed questions, the limits of the Temple area, and the course of the old walls having been traced.

The members of Hugo's salon were busy, their careers growing every day, so eventually Hugo "opened his house to youngsters with a little more time on their hands, to the budding writer and the artist-elect" (Easton 50).
Many of his original recruits were dismayed at this, having hoped to maintain the exclusivity of the old group.
Hugo remembers the event as such: "...wild whimsical characters, bearded, long-haired, dressed in every fashion except the reigning one, in pea-jackets, Spanish cloaks, in waistcoats a la Robespierre, in Henry III bonnets...and this in the middle of Paris in broad daylight" (Easton 53).

In 1996 the sites on the Suffolk coast, namely Minsmere, Walberswick and Easton Broad, held a significant proportion of the UK population, however all of these sites are threatened by sea level rise and coastal erosion and the inevitable loss of suitable fresh water reedbeds for bitterns.
To maintain suitable habitat for bitterns in the future it is essential to create new sites further inland if we are to continue to hear that distinctive boom of the males in spring.
Eventually he gave up and moved to Easton Broad to try his luck.

A change of routing took place in Easton that year, when US 611 was moved off Third Street onto the current PA 611 alignment on Larry Holmes Drive and Riverside Drive; however, northbound traffic still used Third Street and Ferry Street.
The original US 611 still parallels Interstate 380 approximately 200 yards to the east through Gouldsboro State Park but is now known as Coolbaugh TR 627.
