The Eastside is the collective term for the eastern suburbs of Seattle, Washington.
The Eastside is connected to Seattle by the Governor Albert D. Rossellini Evergreen Point Floating Bridge from Medina (Washington State Route 520) and the Lacey V. Murrow Memorial Bridge and Third Lake Washington Bridge from Mercer Island (Interstate 90).
As a major American technology center, the Eastside is home to many large technology companies, mainly in the software and wireless industries, including Microsoft, T-Mobile USA, Nintendo of America, the former ATandT Wireless, Western Wireless, Vulcan Ventures, Expedia.com, Attachmate, and Infospace.

 Expansion at Eastside College Preparatory School
The year Eastside was founded it had eight students enrolled in a school without a location.
In October of 2002, Eastside obtained permission from the city council to increase enrollment and build a permanent campus for its students.
It will be a place where students receive up to three nutritious meals in order to sustain them throughout the extended school day, and it will be a study hall where students can do their homework and seek additional help from faculty.

 PACE Press Release: Demand for Eastside Performing Arts High (17-Nov-04)
BELLEVUE, WA (Nov. 17, 2004) – Some 63% of Greater Eastside residents are "highly likely" to attend events at the proposed Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE), according to a recent study conducted by Hebert Research, Inc., a nationally acclaimed Bellevue-based research firm.
The study concluded there is a high demand for PACE, based on interviews with 300 randomly-selected residents of the Eastside, south Snohomish County, and South King County, all of whom currently attend performances of some kind in the region.

Our local branch, EASTSIDE FISH, was established in late 1970 by a group of concerned Eastsiders who wanted to provide a service whereby those in need of help in an emergency situation could be put in touch with those who were willing and able to help.
During the early 1970's FISH provided a 12-hour answering service and offered emergency transportation to doctors and hospitals, emergency baby-sitting, hot meals, company to the aged or shut-in, emergency groceries, and most of all-a sympathetic ear to people in trouble.
While EASTSIDE FISH is a non-denominational organization and receives support from various churches in the area, St. Victor's has, through the years, been one of the primary contributors in both financial aid and volunteers.
