		Radio ERI broadcast from Cork in the 80s.
		Radio ERI had various names including Eastside Recording Ireland, Eastside Radio, Cork Eastside Radio, & ERI but Radio ERI was the longest lasting.
		It's original aim was to serve the eastside of Cork, but stronger more sophisticated equipment helped the station's signal to cover great distances.

		Academia Semillas del Pueblo is an LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) sanctioned charter school in the Eastside community of El Sereno with students from kindergarten through the eighth grade.
		It's also racist (in fact, McIntyre once stated on his radio show that it was good that Whites attacked and killed Native peoples for their land).
		We ask all activists, leaders, speakers, teachers, youth, and elders to contact the radio station and demand they cease any more attacks against Academia Semillas del Pueblo and other non-European community-based institutions.

	CBOnline - Step Inside the Red Room
		Initiated by Johanna Featherstone in 2001, the first incarnation of what was to become The Red Room Company started as The Red Room Radio Show on Sydney's Eastside Radio.
		The Red Room Radio Show’s focus was to bring new poetry and writing to a wide audience that included poets, poetry lovers and listeners who might not normally interact with poetry, and it was recognised by the Australia Council in 2002 with funding for the ‘The Red Room Project’.
		Distributed to community radio stations nationally, the different elements of the Red Room Company's project can be used by stations in a myriad ways, from broadcasting the whole series or just an interview, allowing community radio to provide their audiences with access to poets and writers that they wouldn't otherwise be able to.

	ERI, Cork
		ERI was probably one of the most unusually-named radio stations in Ireland, with the exception of the ones that had "borrowed" jingles packages from the 4-letter call-sign stations in the US.
		Some sources quote it as "Eastside Radio Ireland", while others list it as "Enterprise Radio Ireland".
		Anyway, the reason ERI announced 225 was that RTE Radio 2 were on 235 from Cork, so I presume that the similarity in frequency stood to them, as well as theirs being slightly catchier.
