In the township the population is spread out with 23.3% under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 30.1% from 25 to 44, 27.2% from 45 to 64, and 14.7% who are 65 years of age or older.
The median income for a household in the township is $82,258, and the median income for a family is $105,183.
As the population of the township grew, with 30 resident land owners in 1722 and 83 in 1774, churches sprung up to meet the demand by religious residents.

Pennsylvania's rule against exclusionary zoning does not impose upon a township the duty to assure that all providers, regardless of the systems they have chosen to construct, will have a suitable site for a functioning tower within the township.
Omnipoint contends that under Penn Township, the Magistrate Judge should have looked at all of the providers in the aggregate, and if he had he would have determined that the call failure rate is approximately 5.4% instead of 1.96%, which is sufficient to establish a significant gap.

He was born in Easttown Township, Pennsylvania in Chester County, near present-day Paoli, Pennsylvania and educated as a surveyor at his uncle's private academy in Philadelphia.
After the war, Wayne returned to Pennsylvania and served in the state legislature for a year in 1784.
Wayne died of complications from gout during a return trip to Pennsylvania from a military post in Detroit, and was buried at Presque Isle (now Erie), Pennsylvania.
