The virus, named for the region in Congo (Kinshasa) where it was first identified in 1976, emerged from the rain forest, where it survives in an as yet unknown host.
The likelihood of death is governed by the virulence of the particular Ebola strain involved.
Ebola virus is transmitted in body fluids and secretions; there is no evidence of transmission by casual contact.

 Ebola Virus Haemorrhagic Fever
The virus particles are composed of an internal helical structure which is presumed to be the nucleocapsid, a unit-membrane envelope, and a surface projection layer (Fig.4), Particles are approximately 80nm in diameter and extremely variable in length.
Virus particles from fresh unfixed cell culture supernatant preparations exposed to negative contrast media for short times at near neutral PH (as with droplet methods with phosphotungstate or silicotungstate stains) are usually unpenetrated and appear as smooth membrane-bound forms with surface projections.

 Ebola Virus
The Ebola Virus is the common name for several strains of virus, three of which are known to cause hemorrhagic fever in humans, which is characterized by massive bleeding and destruction of internal tissues.
The Ebola virus causes hemorrhagic fever, which is characterized by such symptoms as severe headache, weakness, and muscle aches, followed by vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, inflammation of the throat (pharyngitis), inflammation of the mucous membranes in the eye (conjunctivitis), and bleeding from body openings.
The presence of stable virus sequences and the lack of genetic variability between strains isolated within an outbreak was previously seen during the outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever in Kikwit, Zaire, in 1995, and despite the small number of isolates tested, is again suggested in Gabon.

The Ebola virus is probably the scariest and deadliest virus on earth, since it has a 50-90% death rate, and kills usually within 2 weeks of infection, with the person basicly being dissolved into liquid by the virus, with blood oozing out of the eyes, mouth, and any body opening.
Note that the Ebola virus sometimes twists into a "6" shape, so it could be related to the appearance of the Antichrist, the evil world leader in the Book of Revelation chapter 13, whose number is "666", (as discussed on the first page of this web site).
Ebola, a lethal disease of Africa that kills in two weeks of infection, had its virus discovered in 1976, so if we associate galaxy M76 with it, we are near the constellation Andromeda.

The difficulty in changing Ebola to a potential weapon is twofold: first, the Ebola virus would have to be airborne to be effective.
Second, the Ebola virus would have to be transported in a way that is not fatal to the people who use it as a weapon, or would have to be carried by people who are willing to die a gruesome and drawn-out death.

Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever | CDC Special Pathogens Branch
Ebola hemorrhagic fever (Ebola HF) is a severe, often-fatal disease in humans and nonhuman primates (monkeys, gorillas, and chimpanzees) that has appeared sporadically since its initial recognition in 1976.
While all Ebola virus species have displayed the ability to be spread through airborne particles (aerosols) under research conditions, this type of spread has not been documented among humans in a real-world setting, such as a hospital or household.
Diagnosing Ebola HF in an individual who has been infected only a few days is difficult because early symptoms, such as red eyes and a skin rash, are nonspecific to the virus and are seen in other patients with diseases that occur much more frequently.
