Nabavi's original article was about the upcoming parliamentary elections in Iran (along with a historical view of reformist print media over the past decade) and his opinion that participation is necessary for all those who oppose the current structure.
I responded to his article with a short note and then he answered me (as well as a couple of other readers) in his next article, and basically accepted that he was wrong in stereotyping and bunching of all Iranians in exile together.
Nabavi might be a ggod satirist;but he is not a political leader or analyst. However,he allows himself to advise Iranians to choose between "bad and worse";probably because he has some unspoken committments. His star rose with the so called reformists;and he got lots of support by them;so he should pay them back!

Many of the reformist intellectuals who once vehemently supported President Khatami and his effort to change the republic from within now have also come to see a referendum on the future of the country as the only viable option.
