Ed Budde (born 1940), a product of Michigan State University, was the No. 1 draft pick, for 1963, of the American Football League's Dallas Texans.
Budde was huge: 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds (118 kg); and his explosive blocks could spring a running back loose or keep defenders away from the Chiefs signal-caller.

18th Century German Philosophy Prior to Kant
Chief among these disputes were (1) the attack by the pietists (Budde and Lange) that led to Wolff's dismissal from Halle and (2) the attack by the Thomasians (Hoffmann and Crusius).
Budde and Lange, both ultimately Professors of Theology at Jena and Halle respectively, developed Thomasius's thought in a theological (pietist) direction.
That is to say, both, and Lange more so than Budde, emphasized the need for revelation to a greater extent that Thomasius had done, as they also claimed that the source of evil was the will and that the root cause of evil was original sin.
