Edward T. McCaffrey (born August 17, 1968 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania) is a former American football wide receiver who played for the New York Giants (1991-1993), San Francisco 49ers (1994) and the Denver Broncos (1995-2003) of the NFL.
Also in 2000, McCaffrey and teammate Rod Smith (100 catches) became only the second WR duo from the same team to each gain 100 receptions in the same season (see Herman Moore and Brett Perriman).
McCaffrey was known by announcers, players and fans alike as Wide Reciever who was not afraid to catch a ball thrown in the middle or to risk injury for a catch.

I figured McCaffrey would get all the big hoopla from the board here but keep in mind that he's no spring chicken, he's NEVER been fast, and his injuries have really hurt his ability to run the crisp precise routes that he's always been known for.
