Robertson was the youngest of five children, and claims to have been named on a bet.
Robertson attended Woburn Collegiate Institute with Page, and around the twelfth grade, realized he needed to focus on passing his courses to get into university, believing his goal of being musician was somewhat of a "pipe dream".
Robertson won Humber College's inaugural Euterpe Award at the close of the 2005 Humber Songwriting Workshop.

Robertson also served as a detective with the police department here in the late 1920's, and as county jailer when Glen Farquharson was sheriff in 1939-40.

Ed was raving about th Red Arrow diner last night as well (and apparently on his blog last night)..so may have to see if I can find a few mins to skate over there today!
First show of the tour proper tonight, so many little details to work through today like booking some vans for Rochester for a radio visit and confirming some flights for later in the tour where the drives get a bit long and we opt to fly on a day off.
