Project lands are in the vicinity of the towns of Farson and Eden in southwestern Wyoming about 40 miles north of Rock Springs.
The Bureau of Reclamation operated and maintained the project during construction under contract with the Eden Valley Irrigation and Drainage District.
Crops are alfalfa and grass hay, wheat, barley, oats, and pasture.

 KITLV - EDEN Ecology, Demography, and Economy in Nusantara
EDEN is a multidisciplinary research project initiated by the KITLV in 1992 to investigate the relationships between environment, population, and economic activity in Indonesian history.
In 1999 the EDEN project entered its second phase with the appointment in June of Martine Barwegen as a Ph.D. student, followed in October by Manon Osseweijer as a post-doctoral researcher.
EDEN II will focus on selected aspects of the environmental history of Indonesia in the twentieth century, with Barwegen examining the ecological impact of livestock farming, and Osseweijer patterns of marine resource exploitation in eastern Indonesia.
